2024 in review: Capchase Pay milestones and top features

2024 was a “dream big, and then work tirelessly to make it happen” kind of year for Capchase Pay

Here are some of the most-loved feature releases from last year:

1. Smart quick actions

This feature simplifies how users interact with our platform. It allows them to:

  • Instantly search for buyers or deals
  • Get smart suggestions for next steps
  • Use predictive inputs to complete tasks faster and more accurately

For Sales teams, it means less time navigating and more time closing deals.
For Finance teams, it provides a seamless way to verify and manage approvals with confidence.

2. Real-time deal tracking

Early in 2024, we enhanced our deal statuses with more descriptive labels. Then we took it a step further with real-time activity views. Our users can:

  • See when buyers engage with deals
  • Understand exactly which step the process is at
  • Act proactively to address potential hurdles

If there’s a bottleneck, Capchase identifies it and suggests the next best actions to maintain momentum.

3. Customized home page for Finance teams

The homepage of our Pay platform is designed as a command center for Finance teams. It features:

  • AI-powered forecasts of payment trends and risks
  • Recommendations for upcoming payments and resolutions for potential issues
  • Quick access to critical tasks like deal creation and payment link tracking
  • Alerts for anomalies to help teams stay ahead

4. Payment portal for buyers

This is a central hub that takes a software buyer’s payment experience to the next level! It’s a convenient, easy-to-use location for managing and tracking their payment installments. 

Software buyers can also directly request financing for other software invoices from within the Pay Portal, allowing them to spread out their software invoice while Capchase pays it upfront for them. 

5. Multi-year deals paid upfront

Capchase Pay is available for multi-year deals. For qualified buyers, Capchase will pay the Vendor the total contract value (TCV) upfront while the buyer enjoys flexible payment installments or delayed payment.

In addition to those recent releases, the foundational bread & butter of our Capchase Pay solution includes: 

  • The ability to offer this payment method for new business deals, customer upsells, and renewals, as well as adjust to accommodate mid-contract changes. 
  • A seamless buyer qualification flow that can be automatically triggered by a deal stage change or type, and can qualify buyers in bulk to save time and allow for deal strategy earlier on in sales cycles.
  • An AI powered feature to automatically generate flexible payment terms from an Order Form, Quote, Contract, or another PDF, saving time by avoiding manual entry and human errors. 
  • Robust embedded apps in Salesforce and HubSpot to keep your sellers where they operate day in and day out, as well as APIs to embed flexible payment term options into a checkout or e-signature flow. 
  • The ability for software buyers to finance invoices directly through Capchase without their Vendor offering programmatic flexible payment options.
