Case Status is the leading client engagement software for law firms around the globe. They offer an incredibly robust mobile client portal that helps law firm clients stay up-to-date on their legal cases. 

The difficulty of managing flexible payment terms in-house

As a company in the client experience category, Case Status prioritizes providing an exceptional experience both for the clients of law firms, and for their own customers – the law firms themselves.. The current market environment led to an increase in prospective customers, especially those in the SMB segment, asking for more flexible payment terms, including monthly and quarterly payment options.  For some time, Case Status worked with these customers to meet their needs. This contributed to extended sales cycles as it required significant time spent in back-and-forth negotiations. 

Over time, Case Status struggled to manage the burden of collecting on custom installment plans, as well as the difficulty of managing non-payment issues as they arose.  This inefficiency had a waterfall effect, culminating in stalled and failed deals.
